Analyzing the Employee Count

This utility provides a count of employees, either by the number of paid employees or by the classification status of employees in the system.

Note:  Client Access Group security is enabled on this form.

To access the form, click (Back Office). Under Operations|Report, click Employee Count Analysis.

To generate an employee count analysis:

1. In the Employer ID field enter the Employer ID, or click the Employer ID link and select the employer to generate the employee count for that Employer. If left blank, and the Client ID is also blank, it will generate employee count of all employees in the system.
2. In the Client ID field enter the Client ID, or click the Client ID link and select the client to generate the employee count for that Client.
3. In the As of Date field, enter the date for which you want the Employee Count Analysis.
4. For Count Type, select any one of the following two options:
Count Paid Employees - gives you a count of employees who were paid using the system as per Employee Type selected.
Employee Status Classification - gives you a breakup of the count of employees as per various classification in the system as per Employee Type selected.
5. If Employee Status Classification is selected, then select any one of the following options:
All
Active
Terminated
Leave of Absence
6. For the Employee Type, select any one of the following options:
All
Full Time
Part Time
Independent Contractor
7. Click Count Employees - a new window Calculating Employee Count appears.
8. Scroll down the window to view the number of employees counted.
9. Click Close to close the Calculating Employee Count window.
