Maintaining EEO Ethnic Codes

Use the EEO Ethnic Codes form to maintain race and ethnicity classifications for reporting to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

To maintain EEO ethnic codes:

1. Click the Back Office menu and select EEO Ethnic Codes under System|Change.
2. Complete the following fields:

Field Description
Ethnic Code Enter or select the Ethnic Code for the race and ethnic identification, as defined by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Description (English)

Enter the Ethnic Group, in English, represented by the code.

Description (Spanish)

Enter the Ethnic Group, in Spanish, represented by the code.
EEO Report Code

Select the EEO Report Code to display on the EEO-1 report. Select one of the following options:

• Black / African American
• White / Caucasian
• Hispanic / Latino
• American Indian / Alaska Native
• Asian
• Native Hawaiian / Pacific Islander
• Middle Eastern / North African
• Two or More Races
• Some Other Race

3. Click Save.
