Purging Client Data

Use the Purge Clients form to delete customer data for clients that are inactive for a certain number of years.

To purge files for an inactive client:

1. Click (Back Office).
2. Select Purge Clients from the System|Utility Processing menu.
3. In the Years of Inactivity field, select the minimum years a client must be inactive to display.
4. Verify the clients to be purged in the Clients grid.
5. Select Rebuild Registers to allow employee voucher data to be removed from the tax registers. Disable this field to prevent employee voucher data from being removed.
6. Once all settings have been verified, click Purge Clients. A confirmation message displays. Confirm the action to remove data for the displayed clients.
Note: This action cannot be undone.
7. Once a purge is complete, click Download Purge Reports to download a report of all clients removed from the system.
