Building FUTA Credit Reduction Registers

You can build Federal Unemployment Tax Act credit registers with the FUTA Credit Reduction Register Build form. This process also creates the <State Code>- 17 record.

Note:  This form does not use Client Access Group Security.

To rebuild FUTA credit registers:

1.

On the Work Centers panel, click MasterTax Processing. > Setup Forms > FUTA Credit Reduction Register Build.

2.

Complete these fields as required.

Field	Description
Tax Year	Tax year for this register build.
SUI State	State that this report is being generated for.
Employers	Select an employer ID to limit the report to a specific employer. Leave the field blank to include all employers in the report.

3.

Click Build. The system asks if you want to proceed.

4.

Click Yes to confirm the register build. The system displays a status for the rebuild operation.
